RECORDING YOUR POEMS:

The MANY VOICES of SOULSPEAK

If you want to record your poems you have two choices:

1.Record them orally through a joint venture between SOULSPEAK and LadybugLive:

Radio LadybugLive.com

This is done over the phone through the facilities of Ladybug and requires the payment of a modest, one time fee.

A Full Year Membership in LadybugLive/SOULSPEAK Recordings will give you unlimited poetry recording and entries for an entire year. Recording your poems will enter them in the Ladybug/SOULSPEAK live poetry recordings contest, with a prize of inclusion in a SOULSPEAK audio poetry CD and a possible invitation to be interviewed by Justin Spring on SOULSPEAK Live. All poems in this series, whether they are chosen as winners or not, will be available for listening in the Writers Room at LadybugBooks.com.

In addition, while you’re at Ladybug, you can access the Ladybug Radio Library of recorded SOULSPEAK Live interviews with poets across the country. These radio shows are maintained by Ladybug and are available for your listening pleasure at anytime, free of charge. Those poets whose work has been chosen for inclusion in the SOULSPEAK audio poetry CD will be considered for an interview by Justin Spring on SOULSPEAK Live.

2. If you want to record your poems by the more traditional method of writing them:

Enter them via SOULSPEAK’s Write-A-Poem feature. It’s free. Write A Poem allows anyone to enter a poem via our Electronic Poetry Forum. The poems of hundreds of others may also be viewed. Once there, you can also learn how to create a written form of SOULSPEAK, called speakings.
